Pierre Gildenhuys is a Materials Science Engineer who has been a lifelong scholar of Politics and Economics.

He began publishing in Bitcoin Magazine in September 2022; and is focused on writing about Bitcoin, as well as many of the worlds issues and developments which are occurring in large-scale and grand movements of ideology and actions.

These movements which Pierre refers to as 'Megapolitics’ are the culmination of economic, political, social and technological issues and the global response to them. He is particularly interested in the effects of inflation on time preference and the attention span.

These posts serve to form the basis of an upcoming book on these issues.
