A collection of topics and essays which I want to expand into a book once I have wrote about everything I have planned to. I welcome wide public view, criticism and debate.

Reason and Rules of Engagement:

1. Money, Energy, and Governance: A Bitcoin Analysis

There is a great deal of information which people need on a daily basis about money, energy and governance - but often overlook. Money is a tool which has been used for millennia, but is frequently misunderstood. Governments impact everyone’s lives daily and we all consume energy - but yet we struggle to understand and make sense of everything. I hope to change that by prompting the right questions and passing on my opinions after years of study and questions.

I certainly do not know everything, but I will try to cover as much as I can - as accurately as possible, with the intent of learning more and elucidating that which I do know. I am focused on Bitcoin, and I believe this covers a great deal of the world, but mostly: Money, Economics, Technology, Energy, Politics, Governance, War, Culture & Prosperity.

2. Debate, Questioning and Inclusiveness

Everyone is welcome to read what I write; please share it with people - and I know that there will be many points up for debate and criticism, which I encourage. If you have questions or disagree with me, contact me on twitter @pierregild where I will try to get back to you - or leave comments here.

Please share this page with anyone you think will appreciate it - whether that means they will disagree with everything I say, or if they will agree with it. I believe that the sharing of ideas regardless of political backgrounds is inherently good, as the truth behind matters becomes clearer as this occurs.

Sometimes I will slip into satire and humour, as I think everything - no matter how dire or severe can be laughed at in some way. That is to say, that I find everything fascinating and humourous - without forgetting its severity. However do not wish to sound condescending or aggressive, so I will appreciate commentary if I ever lapse into patterns of speech which make me seem that way.

Any form of racism, or discrimination against any peoples as a result of their inherent personal identities such as ethnicity or sexuality will not be tolerated.

I will add audio in my upcoming posts for general ease of consumption, as well as for the visually impaired.

3. Frequency:

I hope to publish weekly, but I am starting a new job in January and will have to see how often I can post.

I will mostly be focused on things to do with government and Bitcoin - as well as many adjacent topics, however if there is anything that you would like me to write about direct message me on twitter and I’ll assess whether it is something I am interested in, or am capable of writing about.

4. Sharing and the future:

As mentioned earlier, I hope to transform the collection of essays and articles that I write into a book where I will expand on everything, but please feel free to share and distribute these as much as you want, however for some of them I will eventually add a paywall as my readership grows - and as for that content, please do not distribute freely as that will limit my room for growth and ability to assess issues going into the future.
